Welcome to the Village of Lattingtown, NY website. The Village of Lattingtown, with an area of 2,400 acres, was incorporated in 1931 and as of 2011 has about 1,700 residents. The Village of Lattingtown is in the Township of Oyster Bay and is one of 64 villages in Nassau County. The governance of the Village conforms to the statutes of the State of New York, providing for five Trustees - one of whom is the Mayor - elected every two years and five members of the Zoning Board appointed by the Trustees and five members of the Planning Board also appointed by the Trustees for five-year terms. None of the Trustees, Planning Board members or Zoning Board members are compensated in any way by the Village.
