Located at the southeastern edge of the Adirondack High Peaks, North Hudson is just off exits 29 and 30 of the Adirondack Northway, Interstate 87. Centrally located, we are less than sixty miles from Lake Placid and Plattsburgh to the north, Glens Falls to the south, Long Lake to the west and the Lake Champlain/Lake George region to the east. A Town of 266 year-round residents and access to thousands of acres of forest preserve, it offers the opportunity to hike the High Peaks, fish those remote Adirondack Ponds, and hunt the Adirondack Mountains. Here you will find State campgrounds as well as private campgrounds, canoeing and kayaking, mountain bike trails, snow shoeing and cross country skiing and snowmobile trails. Look at the links above.
