The Town of Beekman is now offering new transportation services to our senior citizens through "Friends of Seniors," a non-profit organization that provides "door to door" service in the form of non-emergency medical transportation, grocery shopping, visiting services, respite for primary caregivers, and telephone reassurance. The "Friends of Seniors" transportation service is available Monday through Friday from 5:00am to 5:00pm. Because "Friends of Seniors" does not have a van, they are unable to transport clients who require a wheelchair or have disabilities.
